Veteran's list: A memory of a fine man, Bryan Royse

First name of Adair soldier who made supreme sacrifice in WWI is corrected: The correct name is Bryan Royse

To Ed,

I want you to check a name on the WWI list. I believe it should be BryanRoyse not Benjamin Royse.

Sadly, Bryan Royse was killed in action, leaving behind his widow, Flora Hutchison, and a young son, Bryan Royse, Jr. Flora Hutchison Royse was the only sister of my Daddy's, Raymond Hutchison.

I think what happened is the name typed on the list before Royse is Benjamin Powell and they typed Benjamin againinstead of Bryan.

The article said "Benjamin Royce," rather than Bryan Royse. Check the plaque at the Bank of Columbia and I think you will find the name of Bryan Royse. Note correct spelling of last name--Royse, not Royce. Bryan Royse

Bryan Royse was relatedto the Royses in Columbia and was a very fine man according to my Dad.

Thanks for replying so quickly. By the way I really enjoy your on-line magazine--you and Linda do a terrific job!
