Other dignitaries in attendance, helping with the food service, where Seventh District Magistrate, far left, third row, and Sixth District Magistrate Joe Rogers, second row, right. The bridge construction was made possible through an emergency road grant expedited by Governor Ernie Fletcher, Transportation Cabinet Secretary Bill Nighbert, and KDH Commissioner of Highways Marc Williams, after Judge Melton requested the grant on her first week in office.
