National Men's Champion will race here Saturday Curtis Tolson is also winningest Kentucky rider By Mike Hewitt There will some dramatic moments in the Green River Road Race Saturday, March 17, 2007, starting and ending at Purdy Separate Baptist Church on KY 206. The newest member of the Texas Road House squad is Kyle Anderson, a junior rider. Anderson's Dad is currently serving in Iraq, but hopes to be home on leave this weekend to see Kyle race here in Adair County. And there will be standout cyclists at this USA Cycling national cycle event with both the men's and women's national champions on the course. Curtis Tolson, captain of the Texas Roadhouse Team will be at the Green River Road Race here Saturday. Tolson is also a current national champion and in 2006 set a national record. He is the winningest Kentucky rider. Tolson holds 22 national championship titles. Traci Huber, reigning National Women's Champion, will also appear.
