U.S. National Women's Champion to Race in Columbia Traci Huber won four national cycling titles last year By Mike Hewitt Traci Huber, who is a current national champion, will be racing the Green River Road Race this weekend. Traci is in her fourth year racing, and her second with her current team Texas RoadHouse. Traci describes last year as her "coming out" as she had a great season, winning 4 national titles. She is the current national criterium and road race champion 45-49; current national champion 45-49 points race and team pursuit; and took a bronze medal in the time trial. When asked about the race Traci said "The Green River Race is an important start to preparing for the season ahead" and " it's the kind of course that will challenge the riders." Her current team is Texas Roadhouse which is one of the top teams in the Midwest. "The support I received from my teammates is incredible, especially from Curtis Tolson, the captain." Traci remarked " I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding team and hope to have another successful year displaying the Texas RoadHouse logo!" Traci is currently leading the series in points. The Green River Road, the third event in the Kentuckiana Spring Training Series, is co-sponsored by Lindsey Wilson College. Starts at 11:00amCT/noonET, Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Purdy Separate Baptist Church.
