Feedback from the Hermit in the Woods

Gordon Crump reports in from Clay Ridge, KY

Ed,

I owe you and Linda a huge apology.

I waited patiently for the story and photo to appear in the print edition, but somehow missed it and did not know until yesterday that it was online.

I appreciate the work you did on the story and wanted to tell you that I should have extended my thanks sooner but, knowing how many things can effect when a story appears, I continued waiting for it.

Drop by any time for a chat. I am getting near openng the new cabin and will be able to serve a proper brunch.

Benjamin, the Great Pyr, sends regards and Ellie Mae. the Calico who lives on the shelf behind the wood stove, is silent. She is a bit of a snob.

All good things, all the time.

s/Hermit in the Woodswhere Elvis dropped by this morning. He lives behind Sore Head Hill, grows funny tobacco and digs ginseng. I promised not to give directions.
Mr. Crump: Of course you weren't checking ColumbiaMagazine.com, else you wouldn't be a proper Hermit, now would you? Linda and I understand, but we're holding you to your promise to write to "The Paper," ColumbiaMagazine.com. -Ed Waggener
