Adair artists at 25th annual Kentucky Craft Market

By George Kolbenschlag

Adair County was well represented at the 25th annual Kentucky Craft Market at Louisville Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center, this weekend. Adair residents Jeff and Henrietta Scott (Highland Raku Studio) and David Waltz (Heart's Image) were among almost 400 exhibitors at the show.

The show is one of the oldest and largest arts and crafts show in the country. According to Henrietta, Kentucky was the first state to establish a state-wide annual sale and show for its artists. The range of items shown and for sale was astounding and of high quality without exception.

The show ends at 6pm Sunday, March 4, 2007.
