Shauna Turner on MSC All-Academic Cheerleading Team Second consecutive year LWC student so honored FRANKFORT, KY A Lindsey Wilson College cheerleader from Adair County was honored Thursday night in Frankfort, KY, by the Mid-South Conference of the NAIA. Lindsey Wilson College student Shaunna Turner of Columbia was named to the 2007 Mid-South Conference All-Academic Cheerleading Team. This is the second consecutive year Turner has received the honor. She is the daughter of Paul and Marilyn Turner of Columbia, KY and is a graduate of Adair County High School. Students named to the All-Academic team must be at least a sophomore and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Turner was in Frankfort to participate in the 2007 Mid-South Conference basketball tournaments and cheerleading competition, which were held Thursday-Sunday at the Frankfort Civic Center. An elementary education junior, Turner is a two-year member of the Lindsey Wilson cheerleading squad. She is also a member of the Lindsey Wilson Student Activities Board and the Black and Blue Crew.
