Obituary: Nealus Garnett, 69, Adair native

Nealus Garnett, 69, Springfield, MA, died Sunday, February 25, 2007, in Springfield, MA.

The funeral service will be Sunday, March 4, 2007, at 1:30pm, at Grissom Funeral Home, with Rev. Joseph Payne officiating.



He was a native of Adair County, KY, the son of the late Mont Garnett and Inez Ewing Thompson.

Survivors are two brothers, Lee Edward and his wife Sally Garnett of Springfield, MA; and Don and his wife Yolanda Hunter, Marrero, LA.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne Graves.

Burial will be in New Zion Cemetery, KY 704, near Fairplay, KY.

Visitation will be after 1:00pm CT, Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
