Judge Melton to ACHS Academic Team: You have made us proud

Adair County Judge-Executive Ann Melton sent this message to the Adair County Academic Team, the No. 1 winner in the 4th Region Academic Competition in Bowling Green, KY, Saturday, February 24, 2007.

"I'd would certainly like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Adair County Academic Team for a job well done. I am so glad to know that Adair County has students like the members of the Adair County Academic Team. You have made us proud!

"You placed First out of 13 teams and swept the awards, winning in Quick Recall, Future Problem Solving, and having an overall score of 35--10 points higher than the second place team.

"I know you'll do well in the Governor's Cup competition in Louisville. I support you 100%, and I know all Adair Countians are rooting for you. And, to your parents and teachers: May I say, 'Thank yo.'"
