Mayor presenting ACHS Academic Team Awards of Excellence City's Highest Honor is being extended to group which has brought so much honor to City Mayor Pat Bell is sending the City's highest award, the Columbia Award of Excellence to each member of the Adair County High School Academic team. The Mayor also issued this statement: "We are so proud of the Adair County Academic Team. They are our future in economic development. It is no longer a tremoundous advantage to just have cheap labor. But it is also necessary to have and intelligent work force.
