Obituary: Lorena Shepherd, 86 Mrs. Shepherd was a member of the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church. She was the head of a large, respected northeast Adair County family Lorena Shepherd, 86, 259 Sulphur Creek Road, Columbia, KY (the Millerfield Community) passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at her home after and illness. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 10:00am at the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church with Bro. Richard Lehman and Bro. David Coffey officiating. Interment will be in Tarter Cemetery in Russell County, KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pm CT, Friday, February 23, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 200 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. She was the daughter of the late L.A. and Vina Pike Hitch, of Adair County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Shepherd, on December 28, 1971. She is survived by the following:
