Wolf Creek Dam
If you didn't see our story on the front page, it will be reassuring to know that the State's Wolf Creek Dam program is in good hands. Adair Countian Hilda Legg, has been appointed Governor Fletcher's liason to communities affected by the very serious situation the Wolf Creek Dam rehabilitation.

The Corps of Engineers will hold the next meeting on the situation at Wolf Creek Dam at The Center for Rural Development on Saturday, February 22, 2007, starting at 4:30pm CT/5:30ET.

Governor Fletcher is the first gubernatorial candidate to accept an invitation to speak at the series of Gubernatorial Candidate Forums sponsored by Campbellsville University's Kentucky Heartland Institute on Public Policy and Team Taylor County. The stop in Campbellsville follows an address to a packed, standing room only crowd estimated at 150 people at the Adair Annex at 1:00pm

The forum will be held later this afternoon, Friday, February 16, 2007 3pm CT/4pm ET, at the Gheens Recital Hall on the Campbellsville University campus. The public is invited to attend. Call (270)789-5520, or email jechowning@campbellsville.edu, for further information.
