Obituary: Elzada Burton Badger, 81 dies in Indiana

Services for Adair County native will be Thursday at Who So Ever Will Church in Edinburgh, IN
Elzada Burton Badger, 80, passed away at around 7:00pm, Monday, February 12, 2007, at the hospital in Franklin, IN.

She was born in Adair County on April 29, 1926. She was the daughter of Moss Taylor Burton (1887 - 1972) and Orlena Mae Burton (1892 - 1968). At the time of her death she was a resident of Flat Rock, IN.



She was married to Delmar Lee "Dink" Badger (1927 to 1997) on July 7, 1951.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Tony Badger, Shelbyville, IN; and Steve Fletcher, Flat Rock, IN.

  • Three daughters: Terrie King, Shelbyville, IN; Thresia Cox, Flat Rock, IN; and Cathy Caito, Shelbyville, IN

  • Four sisters: Zannie Estes, Greensburg, IN; Elnora Burton, Edinburgh, In; Beatrice Badger, Nashville, IN; and Naomi Weber, Edinburgh, IN

  • Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Elzade Badger's Funeral is scheduled for Thursday, February 15, 2006, at 10:30am ET in Edinburgh, IN at the Who So Ever Will Church, 623 South Eisenhower Drive. Rev. Lewis Burton presiding.

Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, IN, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
