KY Highways Upkeep Schedule, Feb. 19-23, 2007, Adair Co., KY By Stephanie Daffron, Kentucky Dept of Highways, District 8, Somerset, KY Somerset, KY February 12, 2007 -- Department of Highways personnel plan to conduct the following maintenance activities in Adair County for the week of February 19, 2007 - February 23, 2007: Monday, February 19, 2007: 1) Pot hole on KY 551. 2) Cut brush on KY 206. 3) Replace private entrance on KY 206. Tuesday, February 20, 2007: 1) Pot hole on KY 80W. 2) Cut brush on KY 206. 3)Cut brush on KY 206. Wednesday, February 21, 2007: 1) Cut brush on KY 1104. 2) Mail box rock on 1729. 3) Fertilize seeded area on KY 80 @ MP 11-12 Thursday, February 22, 2007: 1) Mail box rock on 531. 2) Cut brush on KY 1104. 3) Fertilize seeded area on KY 768 @ MP 5-6. Friday, February 23, 20007: 1) Mailbox rock on KY 531. 2) Cut brush on KY 1104. 3) Fertilize seeded area on KY 206 @ MP 4-5Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas, and to be alert for flaggers, workers, equipment which may block a portion of the roadway, and other items of concern in work zones. They should pay attention to warning signs alerting them of the roadwork and obey work zone speed limits where applicable.
