KSP officers on scene in Green assault/barricade case

Special response team called in; female shooting victim taken to Louisville, KY; identity of victim not yet released; updates will be posted as received.

Officers from the Kentucky State Police, Post 15, Columbia, KY, responded to an assist call in Green County where a female reported being shot and had gone to a neighbors house for assistance.

When officers arrived on the scene, there was no response from anyone at the home. Officers are still on the scene awaiting the arrival of the Special Response Team.

The female victim is unknown at this time, but was taken to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment. More details will follow once they become available.
