The Wolf Creek Dam Crisis
The Corps website carries the location of the dam break Inundation Maps. For now, they are at public libraries in Albany, Clinton County, KY; at the William H. Harlan Library in Tompkinsville, KY; and at the Russell County Library in Jamestown, KY; plus the Clay County Library in Celina, TN, and many libraries downstream in Tennessee. The Adair County Public Library is to receive at least the map of showing inundation in southern Adair County. Director Lee Ann Jessee said that he expects that map, and maybe a complete set, by Monday next week. The Adair County Map is in Judge Ann Melton's office; Adair County Emergency Disaster Management Coordinator Greg Thomas has the balance of a complete set. Enterprise Rent-a-Car gets welcome to Columbia

Enterprise Rent-a-Car is now officially open at 130 Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY. A large crowd turned out this morning for the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and Enterprise Open House. Six Enterprise representatives hosted the occasion. Above, there are Secretary of the Chamber Board Monica Rodgers, Columbia; then the Enterprise, team, from left, Brandee Couvillion, Group Rental Manager for Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky; Kelly Geralds, Branch Manager, Natalie Morris, Assistant Manager; Nichole Johnson, Corporate Account Manager; Jamie Chapman, Management Trainee; and Angelle Schoeder, City Manager; then chamber member Donna Stotts of the Bank of Columbia, Chamber President Darrell Overstreet, and Chamber Executive Director Sue Stivers. In back are Tim Perkins, Dana Walker of WHVE FM 92.7 the Wave, and Pam Smith of the Bank of Columbia. The agency will have a wide range of vehicles including cars, trucks, SUV's, and vans up to 15-passenger ones. Many will be available immediately in Columbia, but the local office has access to cars in Campbellsville, Glasgow, and other nearby Enterprise locations. The office hours for the local office are: Monday-Friday, 8-5. Saturdays, the Columbia location is served from Campbellsville from 9-1. Columbia is closed Saturday and Sunday; Campbellsville is closed on Sunday, as well. The Columbia phone number is 270-385-9275. To call Campbellsville, the number is 270-465-0475.
