Yes, cranes killed in Florida the ones which overnight here Update 7:48am, Saturday, February 3, 2007: Vernon York adds information on the plight of young cranes which had won hearts of Adair Countians Deborah Hensley caught a news story on Fox Tv about several young cranes being killed in the Florida storm, and asked, "Are these the cranes that spend a night on an Adair County farm on their way to Florida"? Just a few minutes ago, Vernon York, Columbia, KY, confirmed that this is the flock Adair Countians have watched for each year. He wrote:" Yes, Ed, it was the 2006 Class of ultra-lite led cranes that were lost in the storm. A terrible tragedy and setback for the program.
