KY Dept. Highways Maintenance Schedule for Adair County Maintenance planned for week of January 29 through February 2, 2007 By Stephanie Daffron, District 8, KY Dept. of Highways Information Officer SOMERSET, KY. Jan.22, 2007 - Department of Highways personnel plan to conduct the following maintenance activities in Adair County for the week of January 29, 2007, through February 02, 2007: Monday, January 29: 1) Build shoulder on KY 439 2) Slope mowing on KY 2970 3) Mailbox rock on KY 2971 4) Cut brush on KY 55Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas, and to be alert for flaggers, workers, equipment which may block a portion of the roadway, and other items of concern in work zones. They should pay attention to warning signs alerting them of the roadwork and obey work zone speed limits where applicable.
