Obituary: Ada Floyd, 90, member Freedom SB Church Mrs. Floyd was the widow of Roy Floyd and the head of a well-known, respected Adair family Ada Floyd, 90, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home, Columbia, KY, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007, at -5:45pm CT at Summit Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 1:00pm CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carli Riggs the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Freedom Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Jerd and Cora Bray Calhoun of Adair County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Floyd, on August 13, 1981. She is survived by the following:
Mrs. Floyd was a member of Freedom Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker. The family requests visitation after 3:00pm CT, Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
