Jessie Aaron with her Christmas amaryllis



2007-01-22 - Jamestown Hill, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
Jessie Aaron, always as pretty as a Christmas card, grew this amaryllis from bulbs her daughter, Susan, gave her for Christmas. The bulbs were planted that day, and the blooms opened in just a little over three weeks. Besides Susan, Mrs. Aaron and her late husband, Dr. Oris Aaron, are the parents of Jane Aaron, Dr. Phil Aaron, and the late Dr. Steve Aaron.
