Letter: Possible sighting of Buddy Sinclair

Hot lead re story, "Buddy is missing . . ." Remarkably similar cat sighted by alert ColumbiaMagazine.com contributor on the drive thru side of McDonald's. She volunteers capture attempt

Missing Cat Editor,

There was a cat in McDonald's parking lot, late yesterday (Friday, December 19, 2007). It was going from car to car, like it was looking for someone. It was on the side where the drive thru is.

It was black and and has some light spots on it. It looked very friendly. I hope you find your cat. If I see this one, again today, I'll get out and try to catch it and take a closer look at it.

Ann Murphy

Note: Thanks for the information, which will be transmitted to A.L. Sinclair with great dispatch. One thing we don't need in Adair County is a heartbroken Solid Waste Coordinator, pining over the loss one his best cat. Worst yet, Mr. Sinclair is in trouble at home owing to the incident, though I don't know of a man in Adair County who won't vouch that it wasn't his fault. Buddy and Blueboy had no business stowing away in the undercarriage of his Buick. Love them to death, but sometimes cats don't have a lick of sense. That's all I've got to say about that. -MISSING CAT EDITOR
