Obituary: Pauline Bloyd 95, member Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian

Pauline Bloyd, age 95, of 5539 Fairplay Road, Columbia, KY, (the Fairplay Community), passed away Saturday, January 20, 2007, at 7:47am CT, at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, after a long illness.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at 10:00am CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Rev. Elbert Hadley and Rev. Ralph Hadley the officiating clergy.

She was the daughter of the late Luther V. and Carrie Dell Collins Turner of Russell Co., KY.

She was the widow of William Edward Bloyd, who preceded her in death on September 17, 1997.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Betty (Frankie) Brinner, Lebanon Junction, KY

  • One son: Billy Bloyd, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Mary Dudley, and her husband Tom, Granite City, IL

  • Several nieces and nephews
Mrs. Bloyd was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church

Burial in the Turner Cemetery on Hwy 704.

Visiting begins on Monday, January 22, 2007, after 11:00am CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
