FEEDBACK: The Young Mill

Editor

The Young Mill was quite a landmark where it served the members of the community along Russell Creek, near Joppa.

I had learned of the Young Mill through research of my Bryant family genealogy.

The Young family who lived in the proximity of Russell Creek (near Joppa) was a neighboring family of my historic Bryant family during the 19th century.

John Bryant, son of John and Elizabeth Bryant, first married Elizabeth Young, daughter of Samuel and Mary Young, in 1814, Adair County.

John married, second, Hannah McAllister in 1821, Adair County.

Perhaps Wanda Young Beard could provide more information about the Young Mill.
