ADV.: Real barbecue. Ol' Joe is open Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007

It the third Saturday. In Columbia, that means that Ol' Joe is barbecuing. Follow the crowd to the restaurant on Campbellsville Street, just .2 mile north of the Russell Creek Bridge. Enjoy the generous portions of ribs, whole and half chicken smoked to perfection, or Ol' Joes trademark Kentucky Wings. Sides include Ol' Joes own vinegar slaw, potato salad, or baked beans. Call ahead for carryouts, and don't forget extra Ol' Joe's Barbecue Sauce. It's his own blend. Every one is talking about Susan Lynn's Loaded Potato. It's a meal in itself. If you don't get one today, you'll have to wait until the first Friday & Saturday of February, 2007. Phone 270-384-2360. Open 10:30am to ? - (7:30-8.00pm CT, depending.) Click Here for a printable menu and a photo of Ol' Joe Barbee himself. ADVERTISEMENT
