  • Update: The Murder trial of Wellie Paul Grant has been continued. Judge James Weddle has ordered a psychiatric evaluation and the defendant is awaiting the availability of a bed at the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Hospital in LaGrange, KY. Grant remains incarcerated in the Adair County Regional Jail.
  • Children's Story hour at library
  • Adair Middle School SBDM meets
  • First Baby & Me Class at Country Place Apartments
  • Special Martin Luther King worship service at Campbellsville University
  • Prayer and Bible study groups meet at many Adair County Churches this evening

Traffic and Driving:
Expect heavy traffic downtown, with a major murder trial underway, heavy District Court docket, lightened only by a scant few city government being out of town at City Officials Academy in Bowling Green today through Friday. (Not to worry: In case of emergency, Councillors Edwin Taylor and Joe Moore are staying in Columbia, ready, respectively, to assumer Mayoral powers in case of an emergency.)
