Weather. The National Weather Service outlook for Monday, January 1, 2007 - NEW YEAR'S DAY: Increasing clouds, with a high near 45. West wind between 9 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. TONIGHT: Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 32. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

TRAFFIC & DRIVING:
Deer danger not updated. The deer harvest for Adair County for 2006 now stands at 990 thus far in 2007, according to the Kentucky Fish & Wildlife folks.

Promote Eastern Bypass: Might be time to suggest the Governor use part of the surplus revenue to build the road many think should have been built first, the relatively short Eastern Bypass.
