Road work gives new entrance to J&F Variety & Christian Bookstore

2006-12-29 - Photo By Linda Waggener.
JOHN AND FAYE BLAKEY, J&F VARIETY AND CHRISTIAN BOOK STORE OWNERS, couldn't be happier with the road work in front of their business on the Burkesville Road. John placed large signs on the front and side of their building so passers by can't miss the store. For more details about J&F, cick on the ShowMe guide logo in the top right corner of the home page and then on their store name.

2006-12-30 - Photo By Ed Waggener.

At left, the ca 1950 Billy Cundiff Columbia Dairies building chimney, the Adair County Courthouse clocktower, the crown of Begley Chapel, the Lindsey Wilson A.P. White Campus water tower, and, far right, the steeple and cross at Columbia United Methodist Church. ('fession: This photo was not taken this morning, but it is a fitting reminder of how great it is to be an American--above all an Adair County, Kentucky, American--and what a great day it is to give thanks for being a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church, if you are fortunate enough to be one. -ED)
