Liberty Baptist living Christmas tree Fri. & Sat.

Tree built by CA Cruse 20 years ago; at 91, he still participates in its installation

By Sherri Coffey

Liberty Baptist Church at the corner of Lakeway Drive and Wilson Street in Russell Springs would like to invite everyone to their Living Christmas Tree.

Performances will be Friday, December 15, 2006, and Saturday, December 16, 2006, each night at 6:30pm CT at the Church.

There were several Adair County residents who attended performances last weekend and we anticipate more this weekend.

The tree is beautiful, the voices are incredible and the story is moving.

You are invited to join us for a night of celebration of the real Christmas story.

The tree was constructing by my husband's grandfather, CA Cruse, approximately 20 years ago. Mr. Cruse is now almost 91 years old and still takes part, in a supervisory capacity, in the erecting of the tree each year.

It is definitely a Liberty Baptist tradition and gets better every year. The choir is under the direction of the talented Connie Jones.

Please join us for worship. For information or directions, please call the church office at 270-866-2580.
