KY Highway maintenance, Adair, Dec. 18-22, 2006 By Stephanie Daffron, Kentucky Department of Highways, Somerset Department of Highways personnel plan to conduct the following maintenance activities in Adair County for the week of December 18 through December 22, 2006: Monday, December 18, 2006: 1) Building shoulders on KY 768 @ 2.5 MP. 2) Slope Mowing on KY 61 S & 767. 3) Cut brush on KY 55.Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas, and to be alert for flaggers, workers, equipment which may block a portion of the roadway, and other items of concern in work zones. They should pay attention to warning signs alerting them of the roadwork and obey work zone speed limits where applicable.
