LWC holds annual midnight breakfast for students Hectic time for Cranmer staff this time of year. Hal Rogers will receive honorary Doctorate at Commencement exercises on Saturday. Photo accompanies this article By Duane Bonifer, Director, LWC Public Affairs Lindsey Wilson College's residence life staff gave students a good reason to take a study break Tuesday night. The college held the annual Midnight Breakfast late Tuesday night in Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. At the annual late-night meal, members of the Lindsey Wilson residence life staff serve students a breakfast from about 11pm until 12:30am CT. "It's a fun way to give students a study break, and it also gives us a chance to talk to them in a relaxed environment to make sure everything is going alright with their finals," said Assistant Dean of Students Curt Lee. This time of the year isn't only hectic for Lindsey Wilson students. The Cranmer Dining & Conference staff were especially grateful for the help they received from the college's residence life staff. In addition to serving three full meals on Tuesday, the dining center staff also hosted two large Christmas parties held by local businesses before the Midnight Breakfast, making for a long day at work. Lindsey Wilson students are taking fall semester finals this week. The college's winter commencement will be held at 1:00pm CT on Saturday, December 16, 2006, in Biggers Sports Center. Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management Dean Adams will deliver the keynote address, and U.S. Congressman Harold "Hal" Rogers of Somerset, KY, will receive an honorary doctorate from the college.
