Two car accident results in injuries to four

An injury accident occurred at 9:45am, Saturday, December 9, 2006, one mile west of Albany on Old Burkesville Road.

Joshua Parragin, 17, Albany, KY, was pulling onto Old Burkesville Road in a 1999 Chevrolet pickup, and was struck by a 1996 Nissan Sentra, which was operated by Wendell Shelton, 28, Albany, KY, and which was travelling west on Old Burkesville Road,



Parragin was treated at the scene by the EMS. He had a seatbelt in use.

Shelton was treated and released at the Clinton County Hospital in Albany. He was belted.

Two passengers in the Parragin vehicle were also injured. Tacurria Shelton, 22, Albany, KY, who had a seatbelt in use, was treated at the Clinton County Hospital. Wendell Shelton, 1, who was in a carset, was also treated at the Clinton County Hospital.

The incident was investigated by Trooper David Long of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
