Driver killed after flatbed truck leaves roadway The driver of a 1978 Chevy flatbed truck was killed when the vehicle left the roadway, traveled down a steep embankment, before coming ot a final rest upside down in a ravine. The accident occurred as the vehicle was headed east Saturday morning, some time between 4:40am and 11:30am ET, on Tatum Lane, four miles west of Gravel Switch, KY. John Wesley Hill, 30, Lebanon, KY, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner. A passenger, James Robert Spalding, 18, Lebanon, KY, was airlifted from the scene by Lifenet and taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. He was belted at the time of the wreck.
