Driver injured when Jeep overturns on KY 70

Matthew E. Allen, 19, Liberty, KY, was treated at Casey County Hospital, Liberty, following a single vehicle accident on KY 70, 1.5 miles west of Liberty, KY, on Tuesday, November 28, 2006.

Allen was traveling east on KY 70 in a 1995 Jeep. The vehicle crossed the centerline after it was overcorrected and subsequently struck an earth embankment, causing it to overturn prior to coming to a final rest.



Trooper Toby Young of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident. Trooper Young was assisted ont he scene by Casey County Sheriff's Department and Casey County Rescue.
