Paying homage at Veterans Memorial, Tabernacle Cemetery

2006-11-28 - Neatsville, KY - Photo CM staff.
Paying homage at the Tabernacle Cemetery Memorial: Tommy Giles paused Monday morning, November 27, 2006, to read the names of veterans buried in Tabernacle Cemetery. The memorial was erected two weeks ago by Giles' brothers, Alvin and Travis Giles, and is now complete except for the placement of a flag in the standard within the protective chains. The cemetery can be reached by taking a right off KY 206 east (northeast) to the Old Dunnville Road, immediately west of the Green River Bridge, and then taking the first left off Old Dunnville Road, Tabernacle Cemetery Road. It's a total distance of about 16 miles from Columbia.
