Adair Veterans List update November 22, 2006

26 names submitted yesterday to veterans list. Harry Furkins, Nashville, contributes 19 from the Breeding area. We also hear from Pat Darnell, Ruby Pollard, Bridget Rowe, and Thomas H. Werth

By Ed Waggener

The mailbag had five letters yesterday with new names to add to the list of Adair County Veterans now being compiled.

They're added now. The updated listing now has, thanks to Thomas H. Werth, a first "Z" listing, and there are now several more family breakouts. These are being done as we have time to do them. Eventually, hope to have all families with three or more of the same last name in family breakouts. We'll also be working to put all who died in action in boldface, and the listings alphabetized.

The correspondence we received follows, in alphabetical order:Pat Darnell wrote: Please add my father, Paul Vanarsdale, to the list. He served during the Korean Conflict. He passed away in January of 1995.
