HOLIDAY EVENT: Christmas in Columbia decorating contest By Donna Stotts dostotts@bankcolumbia.com As in past years, there will be exterior home as well as a business category in the decorating contest during this year's Christmas in Columbia celebration scheduled for the first Saturday in December. And new this year will be interior home decorating. Businesses are limited to within the city limits and are automatically entered with no registration necessary. Exterior and interior home decorating must enter by 11/21/2006. Homes may enter both contests. Judging will be based on overall appearance.We encourage everyone who enjoys decorating for the season to enter these contests. For more information about the decorating contest, call the Chamber of Commerce office at 384-6020, or Donna Stotts at the Bank of Columbia 384-6433, email: dostotts@bankcolumbia.com, or Rhonda Redmon at First National 384-2361.
