KY Highway Dept. maintenance for Adair, Oct. 30-Nov. 03, 2006

Roadside maintenance scheduled for KY 61, KY 55, KY 551, and KY 768 next week

The Kentucky Department of Highways personnel has issued its maintenance activities for the week of October 30 to November 3, 2006, for parts of the 281 miles of highway it maintains in Adair County.

The work consists of roadside brush cutting and slope mowing.



The schedule is as follows:

Monday, October 30, 2006: Cut brush on KY 767. Slope mowing on KY 55.

Tuesday, October 31, 2006: Cut brush on KY 767. Slope mowing on KY 55.

Wednesday, November 1, 2006: Cut brush on KY 61. Slope mowing on KY 55.

Thursday, November 2, 2006:Cut brush on KY 768. Slope mowing on KY 551.

Friday, November 3, 2006: Cut brush on KY 768. Slope mowing on KY 551.

Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of he Department of Highways.

Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas, and to be alert for flaggers, workers, equpment which may block a portion of the roadway, and other items of concern in work zones. They should pay attending to warning signs alerting them to the roadwork and obey work Zone Speed limits.
