Adair PRIDE free tipping at Transfer Station only. No dumpsters

No community dumpsters this time. Free dumping starts Thursday, October 19 and continues through Saturday, October 21, 2006 this week

The Adair County Fiscal Court, in conjunction with PRIDE, will have their annual free-tipping and recycling program starting Thursday, October 19, 2006, and continuing through Saturday, October 21, 2006. The hours are 7:00am CT until 3:30pm each day.



Due to funding being cut at PRIDE there will be no dumpsters put out into the county for the fall clean-up. Instead, all trash and white goods are to be taken to Midstate Recycling Waste Transfer Station, 877 L. Willis Road, Columbia, KY 42728.

List of of items which may NOT be brought to transfer station

These items will NOT be accepted: Sealed containers or buckets that have anything in them; tanks (acetylene, oxygen, propane, anything sealed); steel cables, capacitors, fence with post still attached, hazardous materials, light fixtures or ballasts, televisions, microwaves.

There will be on-site help to assist in unloading. For more information contact Judge Vaughan's office at at 270-384-4703 or 384-4704 .
