Rooftop cat remains unclaimed, but does get name suggestions

The cat on the rooftop photo we ran last week (to see it, click here), got several responses. No one claimed the cat, but these folks did provide very helpful name suggestions. They follow:

My grandson, Blake, suggested the name "Star" for the kitten foundon your roof. The reason being that she is yellow, found up high andhas shiny eyes.

Enjoy the newest member of your family.

Jane writes, "how about Amber or something to fit her personality. Is she sassy at all? If so, Sassy could be it. (I sometimes think "Whiney" would have been a better name for my cat, but then all Siamese cats seem to have yowling in common.) She could always be Golda Meier, in the tradition of Ed's naming cats after celebrities..." (referring to Bill Clinton-cat or Clarke Gable-cat?)

Billie Farris said, "I love the cat picture. How about Scoop Waggener if it's a boy, or Moxie if it's a girl?"

Thanks to all of you for your comments and we'll keep you posted on Star-Sassy-Golda-Moxie-Waggener.
