Today, Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006 in Columbia, KY

Today will be a busy one in Columbia, with three important events scheduled on the calendar. County Attorney Jennifer Hutchinson-Corbin will address a luncheon gathering at Cranmer Dining Center. Her topic is domestic violence. Also at noon, there will be a meeting of CACIDA, the Columbia-Adair County Industrial Development Authority. And at 7:00pm, Anwar Accawi, author, will lecture in Begley Chapel. For details, click on Events in the Quick Links.

Only one case is scheduled in Adair County Court today; it is in Adair Circuit Court, and that is a competency hearing for Christopher Benham, relative to three charges: Tampering with evidence, complicity to falsely report an incident, and falsely reporting an incident. The hearing will be at 1:30pm. Check other court schedules at the Kentucky Court of Justice by clicking on Court Docket in Quick Links.
