Delegation attends Department of Aviation hearing in Frankfort With one photo By Lila Ford On Wednesday, September 27, 2006 a delegation of Airport Board Members, Council Persons and Magistrates attended a meeting with the Kentucky Department of Transportation's Aviation Division, Commissioner Paul Steely, Colonel Steve Parker, Engineer Technicians Craig Farmer and Joe Carter and Virginia Wright, Project Development Coordinator. The Board discussed what they would like to see accomplished within the next five years and listened as the Department of Aviation Personnel advised how to best accomplish what they need to get done. Everyone who attended was well-welcomed by the Department of Aviation. Those attending were Airport Board Chairman Dana Rogers, Vice Chairman John Rarey, Board Member and Manger John Ford, Board Member Mike Mitchum, Council Woman June Parsons and Magistrates J. M. Shelley (4), Billy Dean Coffey (5) and Terry Farris (7). The Board would like to express their gratitude for all the support that the magistrates and fiscal court along with the city council and Mayor has given to the Board.
