Letter: Debbie Sinclair is properly grateful for Jason address

Hi, Mr. Waggener,

Thanks so much for the email for Jason,

I had been anxiously waiting for it. and thank you for the nice complement.

I wish I had tried writing much earlier than I did. It's always good to know that someone enjoys your stories. I knew Jason's great grandparents well and i am looking foreward to writing some of these great memories with him. I will contact him asap.

I am sure you know my dad "Pee Wee" Sinclair. I don't get back to Columbia much but I always read the paper and also look at all the info that is on-line which i enjoy very much.

I live in louisville and have done so for the past 20 years or so. It's really not that far away, but the time is always the issue. I work full-time plus have adopted 2 girls both of whom are medically fragile and don't always travel well. Seems like as with this I start all things late in life. As I begin this phase of my life I hope to share many great stories with these kids and the future generations to come. Thanks again.

Debbie Sinclair
Editor's note: Thanks for sharing with us. We hope you do write more. The stories From Up 206 make some of the most fascinating reading ever committed to print. There are so many good ones it would take encyclopedic tomes to record them all.

But, while it is important to write down the stories, I'm sure everyone agrees that the rich oral tradition should be carried on. Burton Ridge storytelling is far better entertainment than anything on satellite. Realizing that, I sometimes wonder if it was a good thing when Tv came to Rac Burton's store at Vester, though that, in itself, is great tale.

-Ed Waggener

PS: Yes, I'm well acquanted with your father. He is one of the most respected, well known citizens of this county. And a real entertainer.
