Obituary: Dwight Monday, 62, US Marine Vietnam era veteran Mr. Monday was a member of Praise Assembly of God and an elder; he was a retired US Postal worker Dwight Monday, 62, 761 Beech Top Road, Columbia, kY, passed away Monay, September 25, 2006, at 9:30am CT, at his home after an illness. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at 2:00pm CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Cooper the officiating clergy. He was the son of the late Elburn Monday and Laura Monday Burchell of Casey County, KY He is survived by his wife, Paula Sherrill, Columbia, KY, and the following:
Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery with military honors by local VFW Post 6097. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangments. Visitation will be after 4:30pm, Tuesday, September 26, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
