Pedestrian injured in Sat. accident on N. KY 55, Columbia, KY The Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia reported an injury accident occurring Saturday, September 2, 2006 when a pedestrian was attempting to cross Highway 55 at around 11:00pm, CT. Javier Carcis, 29, Columbia, KY, was admitted to the hospital after being struck by Thomas Long, 35, also of Columbia. Long was not injured in the accident. He was traveling North on KY 55 in a 1997 Chevy Pickup. Trooper Andy Olson of Kentucky State Police Post 15 investigated the incident.
