Adair County Deputy Sheriff Tracy McCarol served warrants on Justin Messer and Ashley Burns on Monday, August 28, 2006.

Messer and Burns are being held in Adair County Regional Jail in connection with burglaries at Leland Grant's store in Neatsville.

The latest warrants for Burns and Messer were for receiving stolen property over $300, 5 counts, from Whitley County, KY.

"Apparently they are suspects in several burglaries in Knox, Whitley, and Laurel Counties," Deputy McCarol said, adding, "I would not be surprised to see more charges forthcoming."
