Two killed in one car accident in Cumberland County Neither occupant belted; both ejected from vehicle The driver and a passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene of a one vehicle accident in Cumberland County shortly after midnight on Friday, August 25, 2006. Jackie N. Grider, 40, Tompkinsville, KY, and Sherry L. Ledbetter, 38, Celina, TN, were pronounced dead at the scene, eight miles south of Burkesville on KY 61, by the Cumberland County Coroner's office. Grider was driving a 2004 Nissan Maxima northbound on KY 61, and crossed the centerline, ran off the roadway and struck a rock embankment. Neither driver nor passenger was belted and both were ejected from the vehicle. Trooper Toby Young of Kentucky State Police Post 15 was assister by KSP Trooper Bradley Stotts, the Cumberland County Sheriff, and the Cumberland County EMS.
