Wet roadway contributes to injury accident An injury accident occurred Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at 11:00am ET, on KY 1547 four miles west of Liberty, KY, when the driver lost control on a wet readway, slid into a ditch, and struck a tree. The driver, Lenuel Shawn Flinchum, 29, Campbellsville, KY, was operating a 1995 Pontiac, southbound on KY 1547. A seatbelt was in use. Flinchum was treated and released at Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY. Officer Mike Woodrum of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the incident.
