Two injured in Marion accident involving 3 vehicles

Two people were injured in an accident involving three cars in Lebanon, KY, this afternoon, Friday, August 11, 2006, at 5:00pm.

Roger Ferguson, 45, Columbia, KY, was operating a 1978 Chevrolet, westbound on Main Street in Lebanon, KY. According to the Kentucky State Police, Ferguson swung too wide attempting a right turn.



Another westbound vehicle, operated by Rhonda L. Luckett, 34, Gravel Switch, KY, slid into the passenger side of the Ferguson vehicle, which, in turn, struck a 1995 Ford Explorer owned by Alberta Brady.

Ferguson was not injured, and was belted.

Rhonda Luckett, was treated and released from Springview Medical Center. Luckett was not belted. A passenger in the Luckett vehicle, Steven Orberson, 37, also was not belted, but was not injured.

The incident was investigated by Trooper John Adams of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
