Letter: Descendant of Thomas Burton of Cobbs writes

Enjoyed work by Greg Burton about Cobbs Plantation

I read with interest Greg Burton's article and the enjoyed the pictures of him and his Son at Cobbs Plantation.

I am also descended from Thomas Burton of Cobbs and have done considerable geanealogy on Thomas and his descendents. Greg and I are certainly related through this Burton line. I would like to make contact with Greg and perhaps exchange information on our ancestor in common. -James B. Kelly
Editor's note: Thanks for your comment. Many, many readers, regardless of kinship with Thomas Burton of Cobbs or not, have told us how much they enjoyed Dr. Burton's articles and pictures. He shared his email in an earlier posting. Perhaps you missed it. It's: liveliketheson@charter.net. I'm sure he will be happy to hear from another descendant of Thomas Burton of Cobbs. -Ed Waggener.
