Tim Judd gets promoted to Comptroller of CU By Joan C. McKinney, director of university communications Tim Judd of Greensburg, senior accountant in the Office of Business Services at Campbellsville University, has been promoted to the universitys comptroller, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president. Tim has keen financial insight, said Carter. He has worked with us since 2002, and we are pleased to offer this position to him. He will do well in the comptroller role. Otto Tennant, vice president for finance and administration, who supervises the Office of Business Services, said, Tim has done excellent work for over four years in the Office of Business Services, first as staff accountant and later as senior accountant. He got his bachelor of science in accounting and his master of business administration from CU, so he has strong credentials. I think Tim will do a tremendous job for CU because of his in-depth knowledge of our business operations. He brings to the business office a caring attitude for our students as well as a continued spirit of cooperation to work closely with other offices. Judd received his masters degree in business administration in 2005 from CU. He graduated magna cum laude in 2003 from CU with a bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. While at CU, Judd was a member of Phi Beta Lambda. Judd has worked in the Office of Business Services since 2002 as a staff accountant and was promoted in 2005 to senior accountant. Judd is married to Jamie Edwards Judd, who received her bachelors degree in p-5 elementary education at CU in 2003 and her master of arts in special education in 2005 from CU. She teaches first grade at Vine Grove Elementary School in Hardin County. They attend Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Greensburg. Judd is the son of Patrick and Judy Judd of Greensburg and the grandson of Lilburn and Inez Kelly, also of Greensburg, and the late Jimmie and Rena Judd. He is a 1999 graduate of Green County High School. This story was posted on 2006-07-23 16:47:25
